Balima

Born on 24 August 1996 at the Walter Zoo Gossau

Neither living parents nor offspring

Balima has never had a baby of her own. She is very intelligent, tractable and inquisitive. She knows exactly what she has to do to get a raisin or a date from the caregivers, such as bringing them objects that got lost in the compound. She also does that with brushes that have been carried into the compound by the others during the sessions. Balima often sits alone somewhere in the compound looking for peace.
To our surprise, she shows no great interest in the painting implements and is only present sporadically. She often sits on the rope and observes what is happening. If we try to give her a brush, she usually does not even take it in hand. Apparently, in contrast to Cess, she understands the reason for our presence very well, but she does not see any usefulness in our offer, since she does not get any food reward for participating.

There are 5 manifestations from Balima.

She produced her first color stroke on 15 January 2014.
